I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year’s celebration! We kept it low-key with yummy food and great company. My skin has been all over the place because of the unpredictable weather we’ve had. I haven’t set my Nars Sheer Glow foundation in weeks because my skin was looking so dry.
Enter the most beautiful setting powder I have ever tried! Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette was under my tree this year. I wanted it for subtle highlighting because I never thought I could get away with wearing it all over. But I’ve worn it everyday since I got it and it gives me a much-needed glow. I dip my brush lightly in Dim Light (left) and Incandescent Light (middle) and sweep it across my cheeks and down the center of my face.
It makes my skin look airbrushed and I love it! This trio is limited edition but I will definitely buy the individual Dim Light when I finish it.
For blush I used MAC Pink Cult (LE). I mentioned it in my Fall Blush post. After hearing so much about the OCC Lip Tars I finally have a few! This shade is in Black Dahlia. It’s a beautifully vampy burgundy plum. It’s very similar in color, not texture, to UD Venom. I got a set with three other colors that I have been playing with and have an entire dedicated post coming up. My eyes are simple with TooFaced Like A Virgin eyeshadow and mascara (not pictured).
